I try to make blog with the possibility to add documents.

Anyone can recommend an extension?

Have tried with JCE, but the text does not remain formatted.

More detail is required, please.

What do you mean by "possibility to add documents" and "the text does not remain formatted"?

Are you copying text from MS Word, and expecting MS Word's formatting to be maintained in a Joomla article?

Have you tried TinyMCE (I would expect the same thing to occur).

Ultimately you would have to reformat the text after copying.

For "adding" documents I'm using Phoca Download. But you can simply upload them with Filezilla. It's up to your knowledge.

You can also use JCE's file manager to upload documents that you want to link to within an Article.

Thanks

I am using JCE and the file manager to upload document and that part works okay.

When I write text in the article window (frontend) it look ok, but after pressing save the text become one line.

When I write an article in the backend as administrator the text stay formatted.

any idea why there is this difference

I've never experienced that 'becomes one line' thing with JCE so I can't make any comment from personal experience.

Are you using the latest release of JCE - Free or Professional Edition? (If Pro,I would ask the developers in their support forum).

I am using the latest version 2.9.63 - just dowloaded it because it has the filemanager.

Using Joomla 5.0.3

I even started a new joomla 5.0.3 installation and only extention is JCE 2.9.63 - for testing before installing on the site with users on.
