Joomla 5.1 Installer fails (nothing to select in database type)
Hi gruoup
I´ve tried to install twice joomla 5.1. even in new control panel accounts.
but in both times, when entering data for the installation, at the box for database type selection, just appear the word "none", so cannot continue to proceed wiith installation.
someone can help?

Please review the technical requirements of Joomla at https://manual.joomla.org/docs/next/get ... uirements/.
As you may notice, the minimum version of MariaDB required is 10.4.0.
Also, I suggest checking whether the MySQL (drivers) module mysqlnd or pdo_mysql is enabled/installed in PHP.

I answered but it seems that was not sent
I didnt find those php modules on whm and cpanel configurations
¿could you please tell me where i can find them?
i also read in one post that joomla accept mariadb 10.3 or at least worked on it.
i have not tried to upgrade mariadb in vps, as im afradi that some sites could get crashed with this change

Unfortunatley mediadb to 10.4 version was not possible to be upgraded, error related to something code like yum, appeared.
I had to install temporarily joomla 3.x as nor j4 nether j5 could be installed.
it seems taht i have to contact technician service in server side to asist.
i dont know what else
