Can Joomla4 Handle Basic SEO Needs? Topic is solved

Hello Joomla Family,

For the past several years I've always loaded a SEO extension on every site I build. I am working on finally migrating all sites to Joomla4 and was wondering if Joomla4 is able to handle basic SEO needs such as structure data, title, description, social media etc. Do you all recommend still using a separate SEO extension or is Joomla4 capable of handling some SEO needs out of the box?

I would say it is very capable.

Just change to SEF URLs and make sure your articles, categories, and menu items are sensibly named, contain relevant content, and add a site description (meta tag (global configuration), then submit to your favourite search engines.

Keywords Meta is less important these days since the search engines crawl your entire site.
